Looks … See’s a whisp of something. Where did that come from? It seems to have evaporated. Looks for it. … Waits … Looks … Waits … Shrugs …

SFX: Wings and another Giggle
S: Turns back … there it is again … I saw it!
Where is it? It’s gone. Nothing.
SFX: Hears sound – Dung!
S: There is it … what did it say?
SXF: Hears sound – Dung! Dung.
S: Responds by copying … Dung! Dung!
SFX: Dung, Dung, Dung.
S: Copies again. Dung, Dung, Dung!
SFX: Dung, dung, dung, dung!
S: Copies Dung, dung, dung, dung!
SFX: Bell Trill … Giggle
St: Dung … Da Dung …. Da Da Dung … Da Da Da Dung

SFX: Hello???

St: Hello!! Who are you?
SFX: It’s me.

Flutter FX – Stephen senses/sees her exit ….
S: Hello? Are you there?
Hello? (she’s not responding)
(he thinks the chant might re-engage her)
S: Dung … Dung, Dung … Dung, Dung, Dung … Dung, Dung, Dung, Dung.
[Finger patterning the pitch.]
[Then sharing the clap …. And harnessing the kids into the pattern.]
Stephen makes it clear that they’re collectively trying to summon up the “play sprite” again.
There is a sound … and Stephen is frozen momentarily.
Then he lips syncs the following voice from a child.
