Project: Risky
Session: 4
Delivery date: 6 February 2025
Present: Stephen Noonan, Dave Brown & Greg Cousins
Location: Upstairs Cirkidz, 27 Fifth St, Bowden SA 5007
Time: 9:30 am - 5 pm
Outcomes/ Reflection: I started by presenting a number of modules, including one new section, ‘hand chasing rope behind the corflute’. This module was basic but became a springboard for a number of other modules that could take place with the corflute. These are documented below.
Other modules included development of previous modules, which included floor rope coiling, rope and fishing line and lassoing. Then began broader discussions and improvisations exploring the corflute as a floor, corflute exploration without rope and corflute with rope exploration.
There was the exploration of the rope all coming from a box. And a discussion of the hazardous suit as a costume, what it represents with the hood on and off and how it has featured in a number of other performances.
